Shipping Generative AI features at Adobe

we are excited to meet at Adobe's offices near Fischmarkt for a talk about one of the most trending topics in Software Engineering.

Abstract:
Productionalizing AI product features introduces a unique set of challenges that go beyond traditional software engineering. In this talk, we will delve into the complexities of consistently delivering trained machine learning (ML) models at high velocity and for massive scale, while optimizing costs per request. We will explore a wide range of use cases and their unique requirements, including emerging generative AI features like Adobe FireFly and Photoshop Generative Fill.

Bio:
Michael Friedrich is a technology enthusiast and always trying to push boundaries of what is possible. In his 15 years professional life he worked on a broad set of problems, from optimal container routing in shipping networks at Hamburg Süd (now part of Maersk) to AI driven operation and delivery of large-scale cloud components at Adobe. Michael is currently senior manager with the AI/ML inference and content processing platform at Adobe, bringing agile methodologies and leading ML technologies together.
