Coaching Agile Using Lego EV3 Robotics
First 30 minutes will be meet and greet and light snacks. At 6:30, our presenter will begin. In advance of an Agile rebirth at a SaaS company, we experimented with an Agile workshop based on my work as a FLL Lego Robotics Coach and a QA Manager. The goal of the workshop was to apply the concepts of scrum and agile away from the scut work of daily test executions. We provided the following premise. "You’ve just started a new job as a Software Engineer at Test. The business has built a robot that interacts with Lego Fixtures on the board. The Dev team has built a robot and can help build attachments. It is your job to script the steps for the robot to execute in order to demonstrate the robot works."

If you value quality in software, TISQA is where you can meet others who strive to learn and educate on tools and techniques useful in daily work strategies. Through monthly meetings, seminars, and our conference every two years, you can learn, inform, and network.

We host speakers and meet at local companies around the triangle and invite you to also speak on topics related to tools, processes, and anything else quality related.

The first meeting you attend is free. If you join us, there is a fee for the year that covers meeting costs. You can also opt to pay $5 per meeting instead. Please RSVP for meetings through the meetup events.

TISQA is the Triangle Information Systems Quality Association ( ). This organization has existed in the Research Triangle Area since 1993 and is dedicated to development of quality software where most topics are associated with Software Testing. TISQA is also a member chapter of the QAI (Quality Assurance Institute).
