Git has been the undisputed king of version control for over a decade, but let's be honest – it can be frustratingly complex. Now there's a challenger promising a smoother, more powerful, and much more forgiving workflow: Jujutsu (jj).
Welcome to Personalkollen's office for an evening where we dive into Jujutsu, the modern version control system (VCS) built with a focus on user experience. Beyond the presentation, we'll make sure there's plenty of time to just hang out, network, and talk programming and general software development with fellow coders!
The best part about jj? It's fully compatible with Git, meaning you can start using it in your existing repos tomorrow without your colleagues even noticing.

🔍 During the evening, we will cover:

• What is Jujutsu? The background of the tool and why it is growing in popularity.
• The working copy as a commit: How jj eliminates the need for `git stash` and constant manual commits.
• Next-level conflict resolution: How jj lets you save and commit conflicts so you can resolve them later.
• Infinite undo: How `jj undo` actually lets you undo absolutely anything (no more digging through the `git reflog`).
• Live demo: We will set up jj in a Git repo and run through a typical workflow from initialization to PR.
• Dev talk & mingle: We will fill Personalkollen's office with great chats about everything from clean code to the latest frameworks.
