Hands-on Workshop wherein you achieve a functional GNU/Linux environment on your laptop, desktop, server or in a virtual environment.

STAGE 1 (setup, configure)

- Install
- Setup
- Configure

STAGE 2 (shell environment)

- editor 'vim', 'nano,
- working with bash shell
- command line interface
- enable networking

STAGE 3 (optimize, toolchain)

- optimize the Linux environment for DevOps
- install and setup toolchain
- advanced configuration

Achieving the three milestones will provide you excellent skills to undertake your journey in platform engineering, DevOps, SecOps, PostgreSQL database.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

- Ensure you are running a 64-bit Operating system.

- You need to download VirtualBox executable and ArchLinux ISO image on your system.
