What we’re about
So Gay (South Bay Gay) is a social group for gay men in and around the San Jose and South Bay Area. The group enable opportunities to meet new guys, find men with similar interests, interact in a range of different settings and have fun!
The group hosts a range of events of many different types. From movie nights, to patio parties, to pool parties, to happy hours, to gayme nights, to pot lucks, to discussions groups, to drag shows, and more. The group is body friendly and some events will be noted as being clothing optional or even clothing not allowed. Additionally, the group is sex positive and, as indicated in the event description, an event may be "play allowed" and include a plan or designated area for more intimate encounters.
Some guiding principles
Engage and have Fun - The goal is to find the people with common interests and bring them together so we ask that members try to find their niche in the group through being an active participant. Of course, if there are things you would like to help add or run, that is great also!
Respect Each Other - As a group we will treat each other in a respectful manner. This includes respecting people's opinions and ideas. Not shaming people for their looks, likes, or desires. And confirming you have a clear consent from someone before engaging in intimate activity. No always means no.
The organization is open to Gay Men, 18 years and older, anywhere it the San Jose or greater San Francisco Bay Area.
