Let’s enjoy a serene walk through Central Park that blends nature, history and peaceful meadows.
Starting at Columbus Circle, this leisurely stroll will have many iconic stops along the way, such as Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, Shakespeare Garden to Seneca Village - once a thriving community of African-Americans, Irish and German immigrants. From here, we will walk to the Reservoir while taking in the sweeping Manhattan skyline before making our way to Loeb Boathouse to enjoy a rowboat ride along the lake.
For those interested, we will end the walk with a delicious lunch in Central Park.
This walk is approximately 2.5 miles and will include many water breaks, rest stops and there will be many restrooms along the way.
Please wear comfortable clothing, sneakers and bring water.
