Load or Unload

We've got a lot of June events on our SOL calendar, but Danielle and I hope to schedule at least quarterly opportunities for politically active members (or those aspiring to be) to load up on shared strategies for effective civic action or just unload frustration with (you know...) "life, the universe and everything." We did this at libraries in November 2024 (immediately following the election, at Oak Park) and on Pie Day (aka "Be Humble Day", 3/14/2025 at Pioneer.) We'll try to find venues accessible to members all around the KC metro.

This June event will be held in the large upstairs meeting room (reserved on short notice) at the Westport public library. We'll work our way around the table, giving everyone five (or so) uninterupted minutes to share their ideas, experiences, lessons learned, sources and resources, followed by an opportunity to take questions. After everyone has spoken, we'll have open discussion.

Afterwards, maybe we can find something interesting to do in Westport or at Danielle's 6:00 PM Shakespeare in the Park event.
