6th Annual Sole Harvest 5K Run/1 Mile Walk
Benefiting the Norristown Hospitality Center
Motivated by God's love to provide basic needs and social services to empower those experiencing homelessness and poverty.

This 5k will benefit the Norristown Hospitality Center, who serves Montgomery County providing food, shelter and empowering those experiencing homelessness and their families facing difficult situations. The Hospitality Center is a safe nurturing environment with professional staff and volunteers providing much needed care to the local community. The goal of the center is to provide immediate assistance through its services, while facilitating growth and promoting independence so patrons no longer require assistance.

The Hospitality Center receives no government funding and relies completely on the support of donors and runners like you! Please consider becoming a fundraiser and using the Sole Harvest 5K as a way to help raise money to help our neighbors in need.

Location: Norristown Farm Park 401 North Whitehall Road, Norristown, PA 19401 (This is the Whitehall Road entrance to the park across from Norristown High entrance.)

Parking: Across the street from the park's Whitehall Road entrance in the lot on and along Eagle Drive.

Arrival Time: Day of registration and check-in open at 7:30am

Announcements start at 8:45am and the race starts promptly at 9:00am.

Cash Prize for New Course Record: There will be a $100 cash prize to the male and female that set a new course record. Current course records are: Male - 16:54 Female - 18:57

Raffle Reminder: There are numerous themed baskets that will be raffled off after the race. Past baskets have included coffee lovers, BBQ, art lovers, nut butter variety pack, gardening, and more. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for this year's selection and remember to bring cash to purchase tickets at the race.

Breakfast: Chick-Fil-A will be serving breakfast for runners after the race.

Personal Items: Please DO NOT bring anything to the race you can not leave in your car or with another individual to be personally held while you are participating. Please encourage your friends and family to participate and come out to see you!

Weather: This is a rain or shine fundraiser. As such, there are no refunds. The center appreciates your support. In the event of inclement weather, the race will be called by 8:45am.

Donations: We will be collecting toiletries, new packs of men’s and women’s underwear, breakfast cereal, coffee (ground, regular), women's feminine products, and 5lb bags of sugar! These are items the center provides daily to the clients. Let's stock the shelves of the center with these much needed items!
