Learn to see the image – and paint it in watercolour

This Saturday, we welcome you to a creative afternoon of watercolour painting in our beautiful new hotel lobby!

During the workshop with Frida Hård Af Segerstad, we’ll work from a photograph and explore how composition, light, and dark values affect an image.

We’ll begin with small value studies, simplifying the subject into light, mid-tones, and dark values. Then, we’ll bring our sketches into the watercolour process and develop our own interpretation of the subject.

You don’t need any previous painting experience – the workshop is suitable both for beginners and for those who already paint with watercolours and want to develop their visual understanding.
