About us
A little online meetup group for people coming to New York this summer who want to meet some people before arriving.
The idea is just to chat a bit online beforehand, share plans/tips/recommendations, talk about the excitement (or mild panic) of doing NYC alone, and see if there’s anyone you’d actually want to hang out with once you’re there.
Some people will be solo traveling, some moving temporarily, some just passing through, and locals are welcome too. Maybe we grab drinks, go to a World Cup watch party, explore neighborhoods, see a show, wander around the city, or maybe we just exchange survival tips and never meet — both are fine.
Mostly this is just a relaxed way to make New York feel a little less overwhelming and a little more social before landing there alone.
