Solo Or Not Malaysia was founded by Tony, a Scottish expat who made Kuala Lumpur home and wanted to help others do the same — find their people, find their place, and never feel alone in a new city.

What started as a small idea has grown into one of Kuala Lumpur's most vibrant social communities, with over 800 active members in our WhatsApp group and more than 30,000 followers across Instagram & Facebook. We bring people together through a wide range of sub-groups — from sports and foodie adventures to casual socials, networking events, and business connections — with over 30 sub-groups available to join, there's truly something for everyone.
