What we’re about
As a parent to a child that has Epilepsy, ADHD, Auditory Processing challenges, and more I understand that being a single parent to a child with special needs comes with its own unique challenges and overall, many days are beyond hard. I want to create a welcoming and safe space for single parents to discuss the grief, emotional rollercoaster, and small victories that come along with raising a child or children that have special/unique needs. Many groups that I have come across are for married couples, but there seems to be little support for single parents that are navigating their child's diagnosis on their own. This group will meet virtually once a month. The goal is that attending the meetings will help you as a parent to find support, share experiences, gain valuable resources, and more!
Whether you're seeking guidance, emotional support, a chance to vent, or simply a community of others who understand your journey, this group is here for you. Joining this group can help you to navigate the highs and lows together, offer encouragement, advice, and connection. May you be reminded that no matter what you and your child are facing that you are not alone. If you're interested in joining or want more information, please e-mail me at movforwardcs@gmail.com. You can also complete the jotform to share information about the best day and time to meet that fits your schedule, https://www.jotform.com/form/243446631091151.
