Welcome to Solo Women 40+ (NJ/NY) — a women-only group for walks, dinners, day trips, local adventures, & domestic + international travel.

🌍 I’m in Morris County, NJ and chose Morristown because it’s centrally located and easy for most local members to get to.

You do NOT need to live in NJ/NY to join — women from around the U.S. and the world are part of this group and have traveled with us!

What we do:

This group is for you if…

• You’re single, divorced (yep — me too), or happily partnered and simply want other women to explore with
• You love travel (or WANT to travel more) but don’t always have someone to go with
• You’ve traveled solo and loved it — or you want to, but need a little confidence boost

### Who am I? Why start this group?

I’m 53 years wise, was married over 20 years, have 5 children, and came out of a long relationship that ended — and somewhere along the way I realized…
I’m so much more than someone’s partner or someone’s mom. I finally have my voice again. Unfortunately, at this age, I find that there are so many women just like me. We spend so much of our lives wrapped up in making others happy that we loose ourselves and forget who we are.

People ask “what would you tell your 20-year-old self?” Honestly? I wish I could talk to my 40-year-old self. Ha!

Travel is what makes me feel alive. Not just “vacation”… but being a true traveler: seeking culture, exploring and learning that it's ok to put myself first which has lead to discovery of not only who I am, but who I want to be.

I’ve traveled with family and friends, but I feel especially empowered traveling solo — and I have so much to share, including how to travel on a budget, because we ALL know how expensive it can be!

Most importantly: this is a welcoming group. We love meeting new members, and you’ll find kindness, laughs, and women who truly get it. Come join a walk, a dinner or a trip!
