BSC's BOSS TALKS™ Mentoring Forum™
Details
#### Aug. 6, 2026 11am-Noon Central BSC Mentoring Success Forum, with Jan Triplett, Ph.D., BSC (https://ownersview.com) on 104+ Ways to Fund your Business
Mentor Expert: Jan Triplett, Ph.D., BSC CEO, Forum Founder, and co-author Thinking Big Staying Small and The Networker’s Guide to Success.
Why take the 40K Foot Owner’s View? Because, you may have heard there are only a limited number of ways to fund a business: debt (loans) and equity (giving away the farm). Not so.
There are over a hundred LEGAL ways to get what you need for your business but you have to think differently.
Join the discussion about the eight other major options which have tons of sub-options. The goal is to get you to think like an owner and investor, not a manager or employee.
With that in mind, Dr. Triplett will also talk briefly about some things to consider if you are going the investor route or want to be an investor.
Plus Shawn Larson, ETX Hometown Media, will also share a marketing tech tip.

There are over 100 work arounds and alternatives. Not all 104+ ways work for any business, but many do. Dr. Jan Triplett, CEO of the Business Success Center and Forum Founder will share them all on August 6 at 11am Central online at the BSC Mentoring Forum.
About the speaker:
For years, Dr. Jan Triplett has been speaking about how to fund a business to chambers, at government sponsored events, conducted workshops at professional, industry, and entrepreneurial groups of all kinds, and even used it as part of an assignment to her MBA students as an Adjunct Professor.
She has also applied that knowledge and used it with clients of all kinds in all kinds of situations. Not everyone got funding, but they all got on a path to get what they needed to grow their business.
Dr. Triplett will share her updated information in an open discussion at the BSC Mentoring Forum online on August 6 at 11am Central. Don’t miss this session. Bring your questions and personal experience with the ways you tried and/or succeeded in accomplishing your goals.
You can help Dr. Triplett grow the number of potential funding options with ideas from attendees. Her current goal: get up to 110 options because each one might help someone. RSVP today. Seating is limited so everyone can speak.
If you would like to schedule a private consultation with Dr. Triplett to discuss funding, please email Marsha Teague at [marsha@ownersview.com](mailto:marsha@ownersview.com) to set it up.
The Business Success Center’s Unique Approach and Priority
BSC (Business Success Center) makes owners smarter and their businesses stronger. We’re recognized sustainability experts.
Our 5 -star national SBA award-winning three-step proven process provides individualized strategy, the structure to accomplish the strategy, and ongoing support to monitor the strategy, and make adjustments to get results. Our goal is to grow the skills and abilities of the owner and the success of the business by identifying, avoiding or meeting challenges and taking advantage of opportunities. This is how we can meet the owner’s short- and long-term business and life goals. We call that taking a "40,000 Foot Owner’s View” of business. It results in an "On Course” business that is stable and sustainable.
We also have a unique priority: to always look for ways to put money back in the pockets of our clients, connect them to others, and open doors. As we see it, we invest in them because they have invested in us. This doesn’t end when they are no longer working directly with us which is why we have customers for life.
