Celebrate mid-winter with an outdoor ceremony and rain hike

We will start at the Marquam Shelter with a naturalistic ceremony that celebrates winter in a rainy climate, followed by a short hike tailored to whatever children attend (at least one 5 year old and one 8 year old will be participating).

After the hike we will convene at La Carreta Mexican Restaurant for lunch around 11:30AM. Lunch will include fried ice cream to celebrate the melting of snowball earth in the great story of evolution of life on Earth.
