Agility at a logistics Company- Case presentation

Details
Anita Lung, CODP and Elvira Kalmár, CODP have worked with Gebrüder Weiss Hungary for four years using the solution-focused organisation development and design approach. The challenge was to energise a subsidiary of a 550-year-old family-owned logistics company.
Join us to peek into this unusually long, but also unusually impactful co-operation. The backbone of the process was Appreciative Inquiry, still, it was interwoven with Whole-Scale Change, Agile project management, and soft Holacratic governance practices while the organisation continuously grew and became increasingly successful. During the process, the 40 top and mid-managers of the organisation worked together on topics like restructuring the organisation, solidifying project-based operations, strengthening the feedback culture, building a system for their knowledgebase and knowledge transfer, improving customer experience and building the foundations of automated data-based operations.
Bàlint Varga, the Managing Director of Gebrüder Weiss Hungary, will join us to tell us the story from a client perspective.
Participating on this meet-up might be especially interesting for you if your organisation or your client’s organisation:
- is growing or changing fast,
- you see the potential in the people and in the organisation and wondering how to bring it out of them,
- are prepared to witness changes coming from, designed and implemented by the members of your own organisation,
- feel you could re-energise your organisation and put aside some major changes, thinking the people are tired of change
- you are tired of top-down initiated changes (restructuring, leadership assessment, knowledge sharing systems, digitalisation, customer centricity) that need a lot of change management effort to implement and looking for an alternative.
