10th Annual Thanksgiving Give Back with SSA!! Meals on Wheels

Join Solving Single ATL as we give back our time by delivering nourishing meals to low-income and homebound seniors in Atlanta who are unable to afford or access adequate nutrition.

The Meal Services program delivers meals Tuesday through Saturday to frail, homebound and low-income seniors residing in Fulton County.

You will be required to partner up 2-4 per car to deliver meals to the seniors. We will arrange/select the route and pairing at the facility.

We need about 5-6 volunteers who don’t mind driving their vehicles for a route.

Additional Help for our Hungry Seniors. Please Bring some Canned Goods. As a stop-gap for seniors in immediate need, we have an Emergency Pantry for those who are on our waiting list for home-delivered meals. As a result, we rely on donations of canned goods to stock the shelves of the pantry. It'd be awesome if volunteers can bring canned goods with them on the day of your volunteer shift to help our seniors in need!

Important Notes Please Read***
How to find us and registration:
Follow the “Volunteer Entrance” signs located throughout the MOWA parking lot upon arrival. Please note, there may already be a line forming with other drivers.

Check-In Process
When you arrive, provide the Onsite Volunteer Attendant with the name of your company (Solving Single Atlanta).
You will then be assigned your delivery route.
All deliveries will take place within the Central Fulton County area.
