In partnership with the South Orange Elks Lodge, SOMA Families is excited to announce the second annual family PRIDE party! Designed to educate and celebrate the meaning of PRIDE, we have a full day of food, fun, and festivities planned, to be followed by the Elks' annual PRIDE bash for the grownups! We will have crafts, games, face painting, fairy hair, food, a full bar, and a PRIDE-worthy cereal buffet from Cereal Dreams!

We will host Harmonica Sunbeam for Drag Story Hour at 2:00pm, followed by book signings with Katy Tanis, Eric Rosswood, & Roberto Concepcion Jr., as well as kids' limbo and hula hoop contests! Here's the Story bookstore (New Jersey's only LGBT-owned book seller) will be on hand with PRIDE-centered books for purchase!

While there is no cover charge, there is a suggested donation of $15 per attendee 12 & over to the LGBT RAIN Foundation of Essex County, which provides emergency shelter services to address the emergent need of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender individuals experiencing crisis leading to homelessness. SOMA Families members will get an extra treat at the door!
