Embodiment class

Details
In a culture that encourages dissociation from the body, somatic practice offers us a return—into sensation, into self, into the moment.
This monthly embodiment class is a space to slow down, listen inward, and reestablish connection with your body as a source of truth and regulation. We'll explore subtle movement sequences, sensory mapping, and guided attention practices that support grounded presence, emotional awareness, and postural organization.
Each class offers a gentle progression of somatic explorations—drawing from Feldenkrais principles, trauma-informed language, and the neurobiology of safety. Whether you’re lying on the floor, feeling into your feet, or sensing the breath in your pelvic bowl, the goal is not performance- but perception.
- Movement is gentle and adaptable
- No experience necessary—curiosity is enough
- Wear clothes you can move and rest in
Come as you are.
Your presence, in your body, is the practice.
Taught by Thais B. Silva, PT and somatic educator with advanced training in the Feldenkrais Method and over 20 years of experience in movement reeducation and embodied healing.
