The aim of this group is to establish the basis for lifelong movement, athleticism, learning, and resilience to pain and injury. At the core of your active lifestyle is your relationship with your body and most of what your body is doing is habitual and automatic. Because of this, we will guide you into a state of observation and calibration of your own subtle patterns of posture, movement, thoughts, and emotions and the way each of these things affect one another. Our primary tools include Somatic Movement and Perception Training.
We intend that you leave this session feeling more aware of, and grateful for, your body as well as more optimistic and tuned in with your infinite potential in your body.
Intro classes are offered once a month. We offer somatic education and training on athletic skill development, grief, pain and injury recovery, and partner touch and dance.
