Time to burn off that Christmas turkey?

A slightly longer one with a decent climb up to the peak hence 6/10, but well worth it for the stunning views at the top on a clear day! If the Woodborough Inn is open then also a chance to grab a pint in the pub afterwards if you have time to hang around. The first half to Crook Peak is the more challenging stretch, with the second half generally a really nice combination of downhill and flat walking towards the base of the hills and along the disused "Strawberry" railway line.

I recce'd the walk on 08/11 and all was great.

If you would like to join the WhatsApp group for any last minute messages on the day (the MeetUp app isn't the best for last minute messages to let you us know people are running late or lost...), then please message me via MeetUp or RSVP to the walk to see the number in a private comment.
