Mells River Walk – 6 miles

Mells has a village car park - Recreation Ground, Longfield, BA11 3QB. There may also be some closer availability for free parking along Selwood St or New St.

We will set out past St Andrews Church, across the lane and field to join up with the Mells River Walk footpath. This leads onto the East Mendip Way at Great Elm. After following some of the paths around the Mells River and Fordbury Water, we will take the River Walk footpath back to Mells.

We’ll find a spot for a short break half way round for snacks and a drink, so please bring anything you need.

Once back at Mells, we can finish with a debrief at either Mells Walled Garden, or the Talbot Inn.
