7 Miles Batch Loop

Starting from the carpark behind the Woodbrough pub we will walk up the hill crossing the A38 by Sidcot school before climbing further to Shipham. At Shipham we"ll descend down the rocky Cheddarcombe lane. A clamber over a fallen tree may be necessary. At Star we"ll recross the road and walk up over the hill along the batch, descending to the crown in for a quick drink.
We will then walk along the road to Churchill before another climb near the Avon ski slope. Then along the top descending near Sanford batch quarry, then along the strawberry line back to Winscombe and drinks at the pub if you would like.
