Somerville Movie Club

Come see the acclaimed new horror movie "Weapons" with us next Wednesday at the AMC Assembly Row 12 in Somerville! The theater is on the Orange Line (Assembly stop) and #90 bus, and it offers 3 hours free parking.

Description from IMDB: "When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance."

UPDATE: I RECOMMEND THAT YOU PREORDER TICKETS FOR THE 7:15 SHOWING TO AVOID A SELLOUT. The club is currently sitting in row C on the left (C11-C14), if you'd like to get seats near us. We'll also reconvene after the movie ends. Joining the free tier of AMC Stubs entitles you to discount Tuesday/Wednesday tickets, which are roughly $10 including online fees.

Please plan to arrive around 7:00. We'll meet up in the downstairs lobby. Look for me (Branden); my picture is shown under "Organizers" and I'll be wearing a blue polo shirt.

We'll head upstairs at about 7:10; AMC shows 25-30 minutes of ads and trailers, so the film will start around 7:40.

After the movie, anyone is welcome to come with us to a local bar to grab a drink and chat!

One of my favorite comedies ever, "Clue", is being rereleased for its 40th anniversary! It's like "Knives Out" with more jokes.

Tickets: Please buy your ticket directly from AMC. I bought seat F7, and I'd love to have your company. But if you'd prefer to sit further back, that's fine too!
