"The Wizard of Oz" and (Optional) "The Bad Seed" at Somerville Theater

Come see one of the greatest films of all time in glorious 35mm Technicolor on Somerville Theater's big screen!

The Wizard of Oz: Young Dorothy finds herself in a magical world where she makes friends with a lion, a scarecrow and a tin man as they make their way along the yellow brick road to talk with the Wizard and ask for the things they miss most in their lives. The Wicked Witch of the West is the only thing that could stop them.

For those who want to make this a dark double feature, Somerville Theater is following this sweet family film with a classic horror movie about a very, very bad little girl. Coming to the second movie is totally optional.

The Bad Seed: Air Force Colonel Kenneth Penmark and his wife, Christine, adore their daughter Rhoda, despite her secret tendency for selfishness. Christine keeps her knowledge of her daughter’s darker side to herself, but when a schoolmate of Rhoda’s dies mysteriously, her self-deception unravels.

• We are going to the 7:30 PM showing; tickets are $16 (The Wizard of Oz only) or $18 (double feature).
• The showing is in the big, upstairs theater (in gorgeous 35mm Technicolor)!

7:30: The Wizard of Oz starts!

~9:15: The Wizard of Oz ends, and there will be a break. People who are not staying for the second movie are welcome to go out together.

9:30: The Bad Seed starts!
