Snowshoeing the Aspen Glen - Skyline Loop up in Big Bear.

Details
Going to snowshoe the Aspen Glen - Skyline Loop up in Big Bear. There should be enough snow this time around. I have done this hike a few times. I suggest packing water and a lunch/snack. It will be nearly 8 miles for the entire loop, but there are many alternate trails to make it as short as you like.

I will leave OC at 9am, grab coffee somewhere. Expecting to be at the trailhead around 11am. I can carry 3 people if anyone wants to carpool. Google shows the picnic area as "permanently closed," but the Forest Service website states the trails are open.

You will need an "Adventure Pass" to park at the trailhead. You may be able to park further away on the residential streets at your own risk.

After the hike it may be nice to rent a SUP or kayak and take a dip in the lake.
