Songcraft Social: Songwriter Community Kickoff Meeting (Virtual)

NOTE: We definitely do not want this to be an online Meetup. (I'm on Zoom enough as it is.) But we do want to get a sense of where the interest is in the DMV is as we pick Meetup locations. So our first few meetings are virtual.

Songcraft Social Virtual Kickoff Meetings
Join us for the launch of Songcraft Social, a working community for active songwriters in the DMV area. This virtual kickoff helps us understand where our members are located so we can plan effective in-person workshops.

What to Expect:

• Introductions focused on your current songwriting projects
• Brief sharing of material you're working on (optional but encouraged)
• Discussion of creative goals and what kind of feedback you're seeking
• Planning our transition to regular in-person workshops
• About 60 minutes of focused creative community building

Who Should Come: Songwriters actively developing their craft who are looking for honest feedback and creative momentum. Come ready to discuss specific songs or projects you're working on and what kind of support would help move your writing forward.

What to Bring: Your current projects and willingness to share what you're building. If you want to play a snippet of something you're working on, great - but discussing your material works just as well.
