Songcrafting 101 Course (10-weeks)

Whether you're just starting out, or have been playing for years; whether you’re 8 or 85, you have a story. That’s where we start.

Songcrafting 101 is a 10-Week Course that will teach you how to recognize your own unique musicality. You will learn tools to generate, edit and craft your stories into complete original songs. The curriculum is designed to be accessible for anyone, and has something to offer even the most experienced musicians. Classes are held on Mondays at 6 PM at the Wendi Kirby Music School in Monterey, CA.

George Woods is a Professor of Songwriting at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music, and founder of the Monterey Song School.
