“Scene & Heard”
Please join us for more songwriting inspiration!
Each month, we announce a movie—could be a cult classic, campy gem, or hidden treasure. You watch it on your own time, soak up the vibes, and then write a song inspired by anything from the plot, characters, visuals, or even one perfect line.
The following month, we’ll get together to talk about the movie, share our songs, swap ideas, and cheer each other on. No pressure, just creative fun with great people.
The next meet-up will be on Thursday, October 30th, 2025 from 5:30pm - 6:30 pm at the Broadview Library -12755 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133

If you're new to Wes Anderson, I hope you're truly inspired by his incredible visual storytelling and I'm looking forward to hearing your "audio interpretations"!
*(**Basic synopsis: *** Set on an island off the coast of New England in the 1960s, a young boy and girl fall in love and are moved to run away together. Various factions of the town mobilize to search for them and the town is turned upside down - in the very best way)
*As this month’s meeting is in a public library, please consider acoustic arrangements, however there will be a small PA available to play pre-recorded pieces that aren’t easily performed live.
