2 hour (private) Analog Recording Class

Hey bedroom producers and analog enthusiasts!
I'm offering classes to learn the basics of analog recording techniques. These are paid courses, and 160.- for a 2 hour class.

With a focus on analog techniques of recording, this class is intended to introduce you to the fundamentals of recording, such as multi-tracking, mic placement, signal chains, tracking and mixing to tape, and outboard effects and processing. I consider recording as an integral part of my own writing process, and I tend to use the inherent limitations of analog methods to help commit to decisions and build songs in an organic, spontaneous, and fun way. All these tools can also be applied to digital production, and my hope is that with these classes you will acquire a strong foundation for home recording your own work or the work of others, no matter your personal means of production. My goal is to share my passion recording, to teach you to listen in a certain way, and hopefully to encourage you to explore this universe of strange machines for sculpting sound.
