Open Mic at Thicket Food Truck Park (South Austin)

This is a public outdoor open mic at a super cute food truck park in South Austin. Original material only. Spectators welcome. Hiphop acts encouraged!!

The Format:
3:30pm - 4:00pm is sign up. Starting at 4:00 each act will get time for 2 original songs and we will go down the list until we run out of time at 6:30pm. Spectators welcome. Bring your friends.

What to Bring:
Bring your guitar/keyboard and original material. If you have a backing track, please email it to me ahead of time at admin@austinmusiclove.com.

What kind of acts are welcome?

1. Musical acts with original material only.
2. Solo or duo acts only.
3. Keep it clean (it's a family place)
4. Hiphop/rap acts encouraged! There's not enough of it in Austin.

Keep in mind I have 4 inputs max. 2 mics and 2 guitar/keyboard. I can also do a backing track. If you need a backing track, please send it to me in advance at admin@austinmusiclove.com so I can keep the event running smoothly.

The Space:
Thicket Food Park is my favorite food truck park in Austin. It has tons of options and a great family environment. They have graciously let us use their stage so I hope everyone enjoys the park, patronizes the trucks and comes back time and time again. <3
