Songwriter Circle (South Austin)

This is a gathering for local songwriters who want to learn from and network with other writers, get their songs heard by other local writers, and even get some feedback on their songs. It's all about sharing art and coming together to learn from each other. Songwriters of all levels welcome!

The Meetup Format:
One at a time, we each present one piece. We will go back around if we have time, but I will moderate to make sure we have enough time for everyone to present at least one work. Then generally the group will share what we liked about the piece and if you wish you can ask questions to the group about your song or ask for a specific type of constructive feedback or critique. I also like to also ask questions to the presenter that will help me personally learn more about writing. I'm always curious about how a song was written!

What to Bring:
Bring your song(s) either as a recording or bring your instrument to play live. If you bring a recording make sure we can play it in the room with an aux cable (i have the iphone adaptor) or you can email it to me ahead of time at admin@austinmusiclove.com.
I have a guitar (I don't have a keyboard for the time being) if you'd like to use it or bring your own.
