🎶 Yoga and sound-infused journeys: let's elevate consciousness together
✨ Community-centered: donations are always optional
🌿 Rooted in mindfulness: deepen the connection between mind, body, and spirit
About Your Guide: Sophia’s journey as a teacher began in academia, teaching college English and ESL. However, as the years went by, she noticed her students' mental health began to decline. More and more of the community she was serving was experiencing debilitating stress and anxiety. She wanted to do more and make a bigger impact. In 2020, she completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training and founded an online meditation and pranayama group. Since then, she’s taught vinyasa, yin, restorative, and hot yoga, blending mindful movement with sound healing instruments to create classes that feel both grounding and transformative. Moved by the heartfelt feedback from her students, Sophia launched a free meditation page on Insight Timer, offering accessible tools for healing and self-discovery. Today, Sonic Lotus Yoga serves as the culmination of her passion and spiritual awakening, the vessel that allows Sophia to deliver her yoga and sound bath offerings in order to support rest and healing for as many people as possible. Her work is fueled by a vision of a more connected, compassionate, and awakened world. Join her in class or explore her guided meditations to reconnect with yourself and the sacred rhythm within.
