Sonke Multicultural Choir practice session singing World Songs

The next practice session of Sonke Multicultural Choir will be on Tuesday the 6th of August 2024 in Árus na nGael, Dominick Street, Galway City H91 E1NY from 7:30pm to 9pm to sing world songs together for enjoyment.

There is no audition for Sonke, and as a multicultural choir with members from across the world, and with mixed and different ability levels ranging from practiced singers to absolute beginners, we aim to create an inclusive, friendly and sociable atmosphere where all are very warmly welcomed. We have occasionally performed at events throughout Galway and the surrounding area. Choir books (full of our world songs) will be available every Tuesday.

On Tuesdays we really enjoy singing the songs in our Sonke choir books, and learning the odd new song. Wally is great at leading the choir practice for all, especially beginners. All welcome especially new folk/beginners. Admission is free though there is a voluntary donation tin.

We continue to very much look forward to our magical Tuesday evening singing sessions throughout 2024. 🙂
