Explore this 1.4-mile out-and-back trail near Bodega Bay, California. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 38 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This is a short trail leading down to a beautiful secluded beach. The trail itself is relatively easy, with some steps in the beginning and delicate wildflowers along the way. At low tide, there are beautiful tide pools along the coast and space to enjoy the beach and watch the waves. If you go at high tide, you'll have almost no beach space, so check the tide before heading out. The trail begins from the small parking lot on Mockingbird Drive, which also has restrooms.
