Lunch before Sing-Along Messiah

Dan Earl has directed The Redwood Empire Sing-Along Messiah for decades now. It's a fun event. George F. Handel's Messiah is the classic Christmas oratorio (at least in this country) and is filled with beautiful music. A lot of it is familiar to many music aficionados. Most of us have sung or at least heard the famous "Hallelujah Chorus" many times.

There is an on-stage chorus and orchestra; however, Dan turns around and most of the audience sings-along on the choruses. You don't need to feel bashful if you're not an accomplished singer; there will be hundreds of people singing and we'll all blend right in, or you don't need to sing, if you don't want to. We will meet at Kaffe Mocha 1:00 p.m. for lunch or a beverage (your choice) and then walk or drive the short distance to the concert, which starts at 3:00 p.m. at the Jackson Theater, Sonoma Country Day School, 4400 Day School Place, Santa Rosa near Aviation Blvd., Santa Rosa.

Tickets are $15 for students, $20 for seniors, and $25 general. The event often sells out, so you should purchase your ticket in advance at https://bpt.me/4423365. Tickets, if still available, may also be purchased at the door.
