Labor Day Movie--The Roses

Join us for a movie on Labor Day to celebrate the holiday. The Roses is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film The War of the Roses, based on the novel by Warren Adler.

Life seems easy for a happy couple played by Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing, as Theo's career nosedives while Ivy's own ambitions take off.

This is a sometimes dark and often hilarious spin on the classic film that starred Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas. With so much murder and mayhem on the screen, it will be nice to see a lighter comedy for the holiday.
