Cobblestone Trail

Details
A morning hike on Cobblestone Trail which leads through an area that was extensively quarried in the early 1900's. At one time there was a gravity powered, narrow gauge railroad here that took cobblestone down to the main railroad line. The stone was then shipped to San Francisco. Evidence of quarrying can be seen along Orchard, North Burma, Two Quarry and other trails. Most appropriate for individuals with at least a moderate level of fitness.
