Come join us for [Music in Place](https://www.musicinplace.org/) present the second one of their free outdoor concert series at the Grinstead Amphitheater on the Sonoma Plaza, with the amazing "Blues Is A Woman" performance.

Six Bodacious women tear up the stage in a celebration of Blues and Blueswomen.

*Blues is a Woman* debuted as a theatrical concert in 2017, winning Best Musical Direction by Bay Area Theater Critics Circle, and selling out an entire month of performances. For two years following her successful national touring show, *[Wild Women of Song: Great Gal Composers of the Jazz Era](http://www.wildwomenofsong.com/)*, Bay Area singer-songwriter Pamela Rose worked closely with five exceptional blues musicians to develop a new multimedia project that tells the remarkable story of women and the blues.

This going to be a great show not to be missed.

The concert is three hours of good stuff. In addition to the music, light refreshments will be available, wines from local producers will be poured, and samples of JamBars, the yummy “organic artisan energy bar”, will be distributed.

The music starts at 2:00pm until 5:00pm.

So bring a comfortable chair to sit on and join me for an afternoon of great local music. You can also bring a picnic lunch, maybe a bottle of wine or two or some food to share.

I'll have a small table setup at near the restroom area under the trees next to the amphitheater.
