This ride involves short sections of Hunt Hwy and AZ State Route 79, so please have a scooter capable of riding along at highway speeds.
**St. Anthony's Monastery is a place of repentance and prayer, so please be properly attired. Check out their website for details about visiting. The information is also listed below. Read the requirements carefully!

*Dress Requirements:
Women are kindly asked to wear long-sleeved, loose-fitting shirts that fully cover the chest up to the neck; long skirts (or dresses) without deep slits; scarves that cover the head and wrap under the chin and around the neck, so that the neck is also covered. Please refrain from wearing lipstick when venerating icons and receiving Holy Communion. Please remove any visible facial or body piercing jewelry.
(*What we learned from our last visit: Ladies, bring an oversized long-sleeve shirt, mid-calf baggy skirt, and loose headscarf (or a dress and headscarf that will do the same). Absolutely NO bare chest, neck, or form-fitting clothing allowed! If you're not dressed like a frumpy grandma from the old country, you're not dressed appropriately!)
Men are asked to wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, no clothing with inappropriate words or images, or baseball caps. In the church, men are asked to remove their hats. Please remove any visible facial or body piercing jewelry, and we humbly ask our guests to refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, etc..
(*What we learned from our last visit: Men, this is your chance to be dapper. They don't state it, but they would prefer you wear slacks or chinos, with an Oxford-style dress shirt.)
For both men and women, socks (at least ankle-high) with shoes or sandals are to be worn at all times. Please do not wear sheer stockings. Please wear practical and comfortable flat shoes while visiting, since it is desert terrain and the pathways are rough flagstone. Please do not wear high heels, platform shoes, or open-toed sandals.
