From doing agile to becoming adaptive - Learning our way to better value
Many organisations have adopted agile roles, ceremonies and frameworks, yet still struggle to deliver value quickly or respond confidently to change. So what happens when you stop trying to become more agile and start trying to become better at learning?
Join Product Leader Edd Parker and Agile Delivery Manager Robyn Wright-Chadha as they share an honest conversation about moving beyond Agile in Name Only. Through real stories of platform modernisation, proof of concepts that deliberately stopped early, value stream thinking and the messy reality of building effective product trios, they'll explore how Better Value Sooner Safer Happier principles helped shift their organisation from delivery certainty to organisational learning.
This isn't a transformation success story or a framework walkthrough. It's a practical discussion about experimentation, shared ownership, reducing assumptions and why learning may be the most valuable product your teams create.

Edd Parker is a product leader with a background spanning product management, software development and digital transformation across nonprofit and technology organisations. A graduate of the Value Outcomes Leader programme, he is passionate about helping product, delivery and technology teams learn together, make smaller and safer bets, and focus on outcomes over outputs.
Outside of work, Edd is captain of the Mikkeller Running Club in Shipley and spends his time learning from long runs, great conversations, and his wife and two young children – all of whom are excellent at challenging assumptions.

Robyn Wright Chadaha is an Agile Delivery Manager, trained Agile coach and change practitioner who believes that great outcomes start with great conversations. With experience leading change across teams and departments, she is committed to creating environments where people feel empowered to take ownership, build trust and create systems that flow effectively.
Also a graduate of the Value Outcomes Leader programme, Robyn champions connecting the right people to the right challenges at the right time, helping organisations deliver better outcomes while fostering strong relationships and sustainable ways of working. Outside of work, she is co-founder of a community center and the proud wife of Dr Alexander Chadha.
