What will your CEO think if you gather 70 people to work on a specific problem for a whole day?
Over the past two years I have worked with a project team on furthering the usage of automation at my workplace. As part of this, we went from doing physical “automation cafés”, to hosting a weekly meetup and then ultimately arranging and hosting a whole day dedicated to automation.
We have received a lot of positive response for this initiative titled ‘Magic Day’ and I will be explaining the specific steps we took that I think were crucial for taking this from a good idea to an event that is widely supported in the company.

Biography - Silas Rosenskjold
I am a 36 years old Dane working with project management in the Financial IT sector. I work in a company called JN Data which provide hosting for the majority of the Danish banks.

At JN Data I work in the Project Management Office where I have the daily responsibility for our project model and our ways of working (a specific concept that relates to our project model).

In my role I manage both individual projects and the overall project management process. Having a foot in both camps allows me to continuously experiment and spearhead new ways of working while ensuring the resulting initiative can be used in the daily work of other project managers.

I have a rather unusual education for this line of work, as I have a masters degree in Musicology and have studied classical composition when I was in my 20’s. On a more related note, I have worked with volunteer work for many years, where I have worked with music and events.
