I figure this is probably our least muddy hiking option after a week of much appreciated rain. This loop includes a nice cross-section of Wilder Ranch State Park's varied terrain. Trails are beautiful and well-maintained with gorgeous open hilltop ocean views as well as deep and densely forested canyons.
We’ll be meeting at the main parking lot and start our hike from there at 9:00 sharp. Wilder is a State Park so you will need a park pass or pay the fee at the gate. Here's our route:

Length: 10+ miles Elevation Gain: 1417 ft Route Type: Loop
Hike Time: 4-5 hours
Effort: Challenging (see Photo below)

Bring water (1-2 liters), snacks, tick/poison oak protection, hiking boots with good tread, any anticipated first aid needs and your love for adventure!
