Whether this is your first meeting or you’ve been with us from the start, this session is about community, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
What to Expect
Our evening will be warm, engaging, and interactive. Together, we’ll:
✨ reconnect and welcome new faces
✨ dive into key themes from Atlas of the Heart
✨ share stories, insights, and moments that resonate
✨ reflect on how understanding emotions can deepen connection
✨ sip something comforting and enjoy an intimate, cozy vibe
Expect thoughtful discussion + practical insights + laughter + good vibes.
Agenda (Approx 1.5 Hours)
7:00–7:10 — Arrivals, welcome, get settled
7:10–7:25 — Check-in & icebreaker (share a recent emotional insight or experience)
7:25–8:05 — Book discussion & reflection prompts
8:05–8:20 — Takeaways + practices to try in daily life
8:20–8:30 — Announcements, next book, and host rotation
Discussion Themes We'll Explore
- Which emotion did you realize you’ve been mislabeling most of your life?
- Were there emotions you rarely allow yourself to feel? Why do you think that is?
- How does your family of origin influence the way you express (or suppress) emotions?
- Which section felt most uncomfortable to read — and what do you think that discomfort is about?
- If you had learned this emotional vocabulary as a child, how might your life have been different?
You don’t need to have read every page — just come ready to engage, share, or listen.

✔ Notes, highlights, or reflections you’d like to share
✔ Your favorite drink to sip (tea, coffee, sparkling water, or wine!)

Location & RSVP

Final Note
This is a no-pressure, welcoming space — introverts, extroverts, thoughtful sharers, and reflective listeners are all welcome.
