The drum is a powerful shamanic tool used in healing, in ceremony and for journeying. In healing, the drum can be used to move energy and to break up old patterns. The drum also represents the heartbeat. It connects us with our own heart beat and the heartbeat of Mother Earth, creating a powerful instrument for healing and returning us home to ourselves.

In ceremonial space, we will create a 10 inch bear hide drum and drum beater for use with your shamanic drum. We will learn how to create our drums, how to care for them as well as how to use them.

Bear is an energetic and expansive force, the bear spirit animal invites us to confront our fears, test our boundaries and heed its message. A potent symbol of power and strength, it pushes us to be bold, confident and courageous in seeking new experiences.
