What we’re about
Soul of the City Choir is a fun and friendly choir singing pop, soul and gospel classics from Stevie Wonder to Florence and the Machine, The Killers to Bill Withers and much much more!
We think that everyone can sing and whether you're a complete beginner, shower singer or pro this choir is for you!
There are no auditions and no requirements to read music, it's all about the enjoyment of singing.
If you've never experienced the amazing feeling of singing why not give it a try!
We are following government guidelines by staying safe and staying at home so our usual weekly rehearsals are currently on hold.
However, we are still celebrating 10 fantastic years of singing and will be taking choir online!!
Nothing beats a good holler, wherever you are, it just feels good! There has always been singing in the car or shower or doing solo performances in the mirror with a hairbrush ... we're temporarily going back to those well-known times... we can still sing at the top of our voices, we can still feel good.

Ever wondered what it feels like to sing in harmony with a 100+ people!?
Words don't do it justice! We've been doing it for 16 years and it just doesn't get old!
We think that everyone can sing and complete beginners, shower singers and pros are all welcome!
No auditions and no requirements to read music.
Singing covers of absolute classics from artists that have included amongst many others, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Snow Patrol, Radio Head, Kylie, Al Green, Jackie Wilson, Florence and the Machine, The Kinks, Lorde, Fleet Foxes! Why not come along and see what it's all about!?
Find your voice, meet new people, have fun, gain confidence, de-stress, be part of a community and all the other good stuff that comes with a good old sing and being in a choir!
