Come and grab a cup and lets talk about getting in the outdoors. Winter is a volunteer instructor with Oregon Fish and Wildlife, as well as a veteran. He teaches the basics in angling, hunting, and archery. If you want to learn but don't know where to start, lets talk. Soon, we'll be hosting clinics in things such as rod and reel fishing, fly fishing, Tenkara, outdoor photography, remote hike-in fishing, big game and water fowl hunting.

These social events are designed specifically for veterans in partnership with Soul River Inc. and we welcome any veterans!

We aim to create a supportive and welcoming environment where veterans can bond over shared experiences and connect around shared enjoyment of the outdoors. You can expect to hear at least one story about fishing, & hear a bit about our plans to get out on the Deschutes River this Summer & more.

This get-together is open to veterans of all backgrounds and abilities, especially including women veterans and those with disabilities. Come together with other like-minded individuals, and building lasting connections with returning veterans to Soul River Inc. as well as those who are just getting introduced to the organization.
