What we’re about
Come sail with us! This is a group for anyone interested in learning how to sail. All skill levels are welcome. We offer small meetups to experience a sailing lesson in the beautiful Long Island Sound. We sail out of Harlem Yacht Club located on picturesque City Island in the Bronx.
Our mission at SOUL Sailing is to allow people from all walks of life to experience the joys of sailing in a safe and relaxed environment. We offer courses and half-day lessons on small boats ideal for learning the basics of the art of sailing.
Our approach to teaching is simple: sailors learn best by doing. Students will be invited to help in nearly every aspect of the sail under the guidance of their seasoned and friendly instructor. No student is forced to do anything she/he feels uncomfortable with but all students are encouraged to fully participate in the activities of the day.
