Join us for an open discussion where psychology, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence collide.
Presented by IndigiScience and hosted by Eric Herrera, a current neuroscience student and researcher, this meet-up explores one of the most daring questions of our time:

> Can we replicate sentience?

As AI begins to mirror emotion, imagination, and intuition, we’ll dive into what it truly means to be conscious — and whether humanity can ever recreate that spark of awareness through code.
Expect engaging, open-ended conversation about:

  • The neuroscience of awareness and cognition
  • AI systems that simulate empathy and imagination
  • Mind uploading and digital identity
  • The psychology of creation and consciousness
  • The moral and ethical challenges of sentient code

All are welcome! Bring your coffee, curiosity, and open mind as we launch a space for deep thinkers and innovators to explore the future of consciousness together.
📍 Location: Seminole State College – Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Library
🕰️ Date & Time: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
We’ll begin forming a weekly or bi-weekly discussion group for students, researchers, and curious explorers who want to share ideas and challenge perspectives in every session.
