What we’re about
Welcome to Walks and Wellbeing in Nature!
This group is for anyone seeking a nurturing space to heal, grow, and reconnect—both with yourself and the natural world around you.
Life’s challenges can sometimes take a toll on our physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual wellbeing. Research shows that spending time outdoors and fully engaging your senses—whether it’s the rustle of leaves, the scent of fresh air, or the feel of the earth beneath your feet—can help quiet the mind, ease stress, and restore a sense of balance. By slowing down and embracing the present moment, we can deepen our connection to ourselves, our intuition, and others, fostering greater well-being, insight, and inner calm.
At Walks & Wellbeing in Nature, we provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental community. Every gathering is unique, and event facilitators will provide details ahead of time, so you can choose the gatherings that align with your interests and energy. Activities might include walking, mindfulness exercises, forest bathing, healing sounds, Qigong, group discussions, or other meaningful ways to connect with nature. Everything is an invitation so you can decide in the moment whether you choose to engage with an offered activity. All that we ask is that you communicate respectfully with the facilitator and other participants.
These events aren’t about hiking experience or physical fitness — they’re about showing up as you are and exploring the outdoors in a way that feels comfortable for you.
To ensure everyone’s safety, participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during events. Walk to Wellbeing is not liable for accidents or injuries, so we encourage all members to join Ambulance Victoria for peace of mind.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we walk. We honour their enduring connection to the land, water, and community, pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise that Sovereignty has never been ceded.
We look forward to walking alongside you soon—one step closer to well-being.
